With 411 million* viewers, VIVO IPL 2019 on the Star Network is close to surpassing last year’s total reach of 414 mn in its first 4 weeks; has surpassed last year’s female viewership of first 4 weeks by 15%
With more and more matches getting cliffhanger finishes in the final overs, the VIVO IPL 2019 continues its spectacular growth on the Star network. Already, it has seen 411 mn* viewers tuning in, which is close to its total tournament reach last year. And there are more than two and a half weeks left.
The VIVO IPL 2019 also has women and kids well and truly hooked, accounting for 52% of the tournament’s viewership this season, — compared to last year, that’s a 15% increase over female viewership in the first four weeks of the tournament. Average impressions for women have grown from 8.8 mn per match in 2018 to 10.1 mn this year.
