As popular kids’ destination Sony Yay! completes three years in April, it has rolled out a tailor-made summer plan for its young viewers that will offer a special dose of entertainment through the long summer months. Called ‘What’s Your Summer Plan?’, the offering will release a bouquet of fresh Indian content at scale. 9 movies; a bunch of fresh episodes of three tentpole shows, Sony YAY!’s first ever Digital IP for kids to engage with their favourite toons, engaging and fun to learn workshops with masters of several crafts, popular games on Android play, and Sony YAY!’s first ever mobile game upcoming this season, are Sony YAY!’s attractive answer to kids and their mothers, to its own question: ‘What’s YTour Summer Plan’.
From a challenger brand when it launched 3 years ago to one on the mental homepages of its TG and their moms, Sony YAY! has come a long way, and its offerings seem not only unparalleled across the kids’ category this season, but also reflect its bullish belief in the power of television, which has grown in popularity geometrically in the past few weeks.

In addition to the fresh episodes, Sony YAY! will also premiere 8 new Honey & Bunny movies spread across April to May, along with one Paap-O-Meter movie in June.
Parallel with the ongoing offering of fresh content, kids will be able to engage with their favourite toons across multiple digital initiatives that Sony YAY! has planned for them.
First digital IP YAY! Summer Camp
The channel will launch its first digital IP YAY! Summer Camp which will include a huge bank of videos that will have various topics like Art and craft, Zumba Story telling amongst many others for kids to have fun while they learn.
10-part series with art genius Lalon across all YAY! communities
The channel has especially roped in the very talented art genius Lalon who will be doing a 10-part series on simple yet fun ways to hone one’s art skills using simple things that are available at home. The videos will be hosted across the Sony YAY! communities on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.
More engaging and fun-with-learning workshops
The other workshops include Summer camps with yoga expert Sakshi Kharbanda, gardening pro Smita Kharbanda, India’s first Zumba education specialist Sucheta Pal, Science workshop expert Shashank Karam and storytelling by Devaki from Little Readers’ Nook.
Sony YAY! viewers can now enjoy the Kicko and Super Speedo game on Android play, which has already garnered close to 4 million downloads. Honey Bunny fans will also have a fun time as Sony YAY! will soon launch its first ever mobile game this summer.
