In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Policybazaar Group (Policybazaar.com, Paisabazaar.com) has extended support to the National Health Authority, Government of India (GoI) in efforts towards addressing public queries around COVID-19 pandemic.
Policybazaar Group has committed 1,000 members of its customer support centre to the National Health Authority (NHA), Government of India, on a non-commercial basis, to be utilized on a need basis by NHA. “This is an unprecedented situation. While we are facing a challenging time on some of our business lines, we feel a sense of responsibility in supporting the nation in coming out of this unique crisis. We believe that the NHA is playing a very important role in addressing public health queries, and we feel proud to be assisting the Authority in doing so,” said, Yashish Dahiya, Co-founder & Group CEO, Policybazaar.com, about this social support initiative.

NHA has included Policybazaar Group as part of the primary call centre for calls to the National Covid-19 Helpline 1075. Policybazaar staff have been supporting the helpline from the last week of March, with each of them working remotely on their tablets or smartphones.
“A big salute to the NHA and our staff who have been working tirelessly on this project. The quick turnaround in which training of the staff happened, creating a customized CRM platform and integrating it with NHA’s systems and standard protocols is commendable,” Yashish added.
