Sabyasachi Dash, an 18-year-old musical prodigy, a native of the steel city Rourkela, Orissa, who started his journey at an extremely young age of 5, won the biggest National Digital Talent Hunt “The Next”. Songdew today announced the launch of his debut single Ara Ra Ra.
Songdew is the most prominent platform for independent music in India with over 35K artists on board. “The Next” is an initiative by Songdew to discover the most talented singers from the country and provide them a platform to take their music to a large number of music lovers. The ideology behind such a humongous celebration of talent nationally is to provide an exuberant opportunity to all budding artists like Sabyasachi, who dreams of making it big in the music industry and are working hard for it.

Sabyasachi, the talented Orissa boy won the prestigious competition by emerging victorious among mammoth participation of over 5000 artists from the country. Earlier he participated in “Voice Of Odisha” and also got selected for “Saregamapa Little champs 2014” and went on to become a part of Top 30 in it. On winning “The Next”, Sabyasachi in a statement said, “I am extremely happy about winning season 1 of “The Next” and am really very excited about my debut release.”
Over the last few months, Sabyasachi worked tirelessly with the renowned producer Deepak Sugathan for his debut. This debut song of the Oriya talent called “Ara Ra Ra” is a reprised version of the incredibly popular original Rajasthani Folk Kalbelia. Deepak Sugathan exclaimed his excitement about this one of a kind track by saying “We all are aware of the impact this folk song has created in the nation ever since it got released and now we can’t wait for more to witness another beautiful version of this Rajasthani track by the young music maestro.”
