The 20th Homecoming edition of the star-studded NEXA IIFA Awards, #IIFAHomecoming, will come alive at 8 pm on Sunday, the 20th of October, in homes across the world on COLORS TV, with Facebook streaming it as a simulcast in its first such partnership with any international Awards ceremony.
Actors Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh addressed the media in New Delhi along with the key partners and producers shared details of the entertainment fare on the Nexa IIFA Awards-Mumbai co-presented by Fortune Refined Soyabean Oil.

Sara Ali Khan, said; “IIFA homecoming edition has been a remarkably special experience for me! In its 20-year journey across the world, the IIFAs were staged for the first time in Mumbai, the capital of Bollywood. The NEXA IIFA Awards night witnessed the best of Bollywood coming together to honour their peers and celebrate with fans. There were performances by Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, IIFA debutant Sara Ali Khan, Aayush Sharma, National Award winning actor Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit and superstar Salman Khan.
The awards presentation ceremony is hosted by the talented real-life sibling duo Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana.
Viewers and fans will see some interesting interactions: A face-off between superstar Salman and Ranveer Singh, “Bromance” by Shahid-Ishaan-Ayushmann-Aparshakti; chemistry of Ranveer-Deepika, along with other favourites like Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Aditi Rao Hydari; Madhuri and her ‘Masterji’ Saroj Khan, among moments of the sort that are otherwise seen behind closed doors.

The event will air on COLORS for the fifth consecutive year. The Awards ceremony is preceded by a Green Carpet welcome from 7 pm onwards, that has the stars in their stylish best speaking about designers, fashion, the environment, women’s empowerment, the forthcoming movies, and engage in un-distilled madness. The IIFA Green carpet will air from 7 PM on COLORS on the 20th of October 2019.
For the digital savvy viewers the same will be available on the world’s largest media platform, @iifa on Facebook and Instagram. The show will be simulcast alongside the broadcast and thereafter would be available anytime, anywhere globally.
