BBC News to bring Election Results in 5 languages – Online and on LIVE Interactive


After the campaigning and the voting in India for the world’s biggest democratic elections, it is now time for the world’s loudest collection of news television channels to bring you the results. But if you’re looking for an oasis of restrained, middle of the road and perhaps the most meaningful  reportage and analyses of the results, tune in, on the web and on LIVE interactive services across social media platforms, to the BBC in India.

The coverage will be available in Hindi and five other languages – Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil and Gujarati.

On the 23rd of May, BBC Hindi will bring live coverage of the General Election results throughout the day from 7 am to 6pm.  BBC reporters from all over India will bring you election insights and comprehensive analysis of the results done by senior journalists, psephologists and experts on Facebook live and YouTube straight from the BBC newsroom.
